The Ministry emphasised the successful use of local resources in carrying out these military actions.
Notably, two assailants killed five individuals and injured 22 in a terrorist attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) headquarters near Ankara on October 23. The assault, which involved gunfire and explosions, left two of the injured in critical condition, as confirmed by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya. Both attackers have been neutralised.
Yerlikaya attributed the attack to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), noting that the method of attack was typical of PKK tactics.
In response to the incident, the Turkish Air Force conducted retaliatory airstrikes targeting PKK positions in northern Iraq and Syria, reportedly destroying dozens of sites and resulting in numerous casualties among the group.
