Turkish athletes - Jansu Bektash, Gamze Altun, and Nuray Gungor, who won gold and silver medals at the European Weightlifting Championships in Yerevan and dedicated their victories to Azerbaijan, have been hosted at the Azerbaijani embassy in Türkiye.

According to Report, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the brotherly country Rashad Mammadov presented the athletes with congratulatory letters, and gifts, conveying to them good wishes and invitations from the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva.
