Turkish plane emergency lands in Baku

The captain of the Turkish Airlines aircraft on a Manila-Istanbul flight sent a request for an emergency landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

The press service of Heydar Aliyev International Airport told Caliber.Az that the reason was a sharp deterioration of the health of a passenger on board.

The Airbus A350 aeroplane landed at Baku Airport at 03:30 local time. Immediately after landing the passenger was handed over to an ambulance crew.

The plane departed from Baku to Istanbul at 05:07 local time.
