Turkish president: Over 18.5 billion cubic metres of gas supplied to Europe via TANAP

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that to date, 18.5 billion cubic metres of gas have been supplied to European markets through the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP).

President Erdogan made the remarks at the launch ceremony of the second stage of the Silivri underground natural gas storage expansion project, Report informs.

He noted that important meetings were held with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and appropriate steps have been taken and will continue to be taken in the energy sector.

The president stressed that Türkiye plays an important role in providing Europe with gas thanks to the Turkish Stream project.
