Turkish travellers celebrate Republic Day in Shusha PHOTO

29 October 2022 15:28

A delegation consisting of 30 people from the Turkish Travel Club has made a trip to Karabakh and East Zangazur.

The delegation is led by Turkish Travel Club President Salman Arinc, whose name is included in NomadMania, according to Trend.

The travellers arrived in Shusha, where they will view the historical sights and the beautiful nature of the city.

The three-day trip for international travellers will cover the Baku-Shusha-Aghdam-Kalbajar-Lachin-Gubadly-Zangilan-Jabrayil (Khudaferin)-Baku automobile route. It is of exceptional importance for the promotion of this region within black tourism.

The delegation of the Turkish Travel Club celebrated Türkiye’s Republic Day in Shusha.

The travellers noted that the celebration of Türkiye’s national holiday - Republic Day in Shusha is symbolic of the brotherhood of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, according to APA.

International organisations do not take any steps yet in connection with Azerbaijan’s devastated lands, they do not properly assess the atrocities committed by the Armenians, Arinc told Report.

He noted that today they are happy and proud to visit ancient Shusha.

"The Turkish Travel Club decided to make the first trip after the COVID-19 pandemic to Azerbaijan, in particular, to Karabakh. Shusha is the heart of Karabakh. Unfortunately, this ancient city was subjected to Armenian vandalism and turned into ruins, but the construction work carried out by Azerbaijan in a short period of time causes pride," Arinc said.

The president of the Turkish Travel Club noted that international organisations such as UNESCO do not properly respond to this issue yet.

"Mere condemnation does not solve the issue. International organisations should give the due assessment to the Armenian vandalism," he added.
