Turkish vice president to embark on official visit to Kyrgyzstan
Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz is set to undertake an official visit to Kyrgyzstan on September 17, underscoring the continued efforts to deepen bilateral ties between Ankara and Bishkek.
As part of his visit to the Kyrgyz capital, Yılmaz will meet with President Sadyr Japarov and engage in high-level discussions with Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.
The highlight of the visit will be the 12th meeting of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Turkish Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. Co-chaired by Kasymaliev and Yılmaz, the session will focus on advancing mutual interests in trade, investment, infrastructure, energy, and other strategic sectors.
The agenda is expected to include the signing of several intergovernmental agreements aimed at further solidifying the strategic partnership between the two nations. Both sides are anticipated to explore new avenues for enhancing economic cooperation, regional connectivity, and joint development projects.
