Turkish Defence Minister Yasar Guler has underscored the critical importance of swiftly normalizing relations between his country and Syria, highlighting that no issues between the two nations are insurmountable.
In an interview with Turkish media, Guler articulated the need to resolve existing conflicts promptly for the benefit of both countries, Caliber.Az reports.
"Ending the conflict as soon as possible in a constructive manner will be advantageous for both Türkiye and Syria," Guler stated.
He reassured that there are no problems between Ankara and Damascus that cannot be resolved, emphasizing the potential for both nations to strengthen their relationship as neighboring states once these issues are addressed.
Guler also referenced Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's willingness to engage in dialogue with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, noting that this initiative has been positively received in Damascus.
