Türkiye reports destruction of 180 kilometres of terrorist tunnels in Syria VIDEO
The Turkish Armed Forces have destroyed 85 and 95 kilometres of terrorist tunnels in the Tel Rifaat and Manbij areas of northern Syria respectively, as part of ongoing operations to neutralise terrorist infrastructure, the Turkish Defence Ministry spokesperson Zeki Aktürk announced.
Speaking at a press briefing, Aktürk said the tunnel destruction efforts have been underway since January 8 in operational zones across northern Syria. The move is part of Türkiye’s broader campaign to eliminate threats posed by terrorist groups operating near its southern borders, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry's X page.

Aktürk also revealed that over the past week, three PKK terrorists surrendered to Turkish authorities — one who fled from a hideout in northern Iraq and two others who emerged from a cave in response to calls to lay down arms.
In a separate development, border security units detained 104 individuals attempting to illegally cross into Türkiye, including one identified member of a terrorist organisation.
Aktürk emphasised that the Turkish Armed Forces continue to exert maximum effort to ensure the protection and security of the country and to combat all risks and threats.
