Türkiye's MIT operation in Iraq: “Special forces commander” neutralized
A terrorist, neutralized during an operation of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) in northern Iraq, turned out to be the leader of the so-called "PKK special forces" in the Kandil region.
The Turkish security forces have identified the militant as Edip Temiz, Anadolu reports.
Sources in the power-wielding agencies in Ankara report that the Turkish special services were monitoring the leaders of the PKK terrorist organization.
Some time ago, MIT conducted an operation in northern Iraq, during which militant Temiz was neutralized.
The terrorist trained militants in various regions of Iraq was responsible for the detachments involved in the production of weapons.
It has been established that the terrorist, who has been operating in the ranks of the terrorist organization for about 20 years, also held a high position in the so-called military council.
