Türkiye to host national security council to discuss ground operation in Syria
Türkiye's National Security Council will hold its sixth meeting this year on December 1 to discuss various security concerns.
According to TRT Haber, the main agenda of the meeting is the fight against terrorism and possible ground operations in northern Syria. The meeting, chaired by President Erdogan, will also discuss regional and international security issues.
There will be multidimensional assessments of a new ground operation against the presence of terrorists in northern Syria.
The latest situation in the Eren Abluka Operation in the country and the operations in northern Iraq will also be assessed.
Another agenda of the meeting will be the Russian-Ukrainian war. Contacts made by both Erdogan and his staff will be discussed to ensure peace between the two countries.
Greece's provocations in the Aegean Sea are also among the topics for detailed discussion.
Also on the table will be a discussion of the results achieved in the negotiations of the trilateral memorandum signed with Sweden and Finland.
In addition, there will be assessments of developments in Cyprus, Iraq, Libya and the Caucasus.
