Technical specifications of the TF-2000 destroyer:
- Total length: 149 metres.
- Breadth: 21.3 metres.
- Draft: 5.75 metres.
- Displacement: 8,300 tonnes.
- Speed: 26+ knots.

The new destroyer will be equipped with the NAZAR laser air defence system, which will give the TF-2000 a state-of-the-art broadband laser functional engagement capability against RL and IR-guided missiles.
As a reminder, the TF-2000 destroyer was to be equipped with a 64-cell MIDLAS vertical launcher system. It will carry HİSAR-D RF missiles for medium-range air defence and Siper Blok-1 and Siper Blok-2 missiles for long-range air defence. Although the design has significantly increased the combat "weight" compared to earlier images, the number of TLU cells has increased from 64 to 96.
In addition to the missile armament, the destroyers will be equipped with a 127mm gun. For short-range and low-altitude air defence, in addition to the NAZAR laser system, the ships will carry 25mm Aselsan turret-mounted anti-aircraft guns and a 35mm Gokdeniz short-range system at the stern, complemented by the Roketsan's Levent air defence missile system with 21 SAMs.
The TF-2000 destroyers will be able to defend the accompanying task forces against air threats from low and high altitudes and at ranges of up to 150 kilometres.
