Two Azerbaijani servicemen have been injured in a mine blast in Lachin District.

Vugar Suleymanov and Heydar Gulmaliyev of the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry were blown up by mines on August 20 and 21, respectively, Caliber.Az reports citing the Gubadli District Military Prosecutor's Office.

The district prosecutor's office launched legal proceedings into the case.

In addition to arson of houses and forests, Armenians leaving Azerbaijan's Lachin District also mine the territory.

Similar facts were recorded on Mount Saribaba in Lachin. It is noteworthy that the laid mines are of Armenian production, and they were produced in 2021, that is, after the end of the 44-day war in 2020.
