Two people suffer in mine explosion in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam
Two people have suffered in mine explosion in Aliagali village of Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district liberated from occupation.
Mirfattah Baghirov, 59, and Khagani Teymurov, 51, suffered as a result of explosion of an anti-personnel mine near the former line of contact on April 12. Both of them have leg injuries, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry, General Prosecutor's Office and Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) told Caliber.Az.
An investigation is underway at the Aghdam District Prosecutor's Office.
Earlier, a mine exploded in Ahmadaghali village of the Aghdam district.
A resident of the Aghdam district was wounded due to the explosion of an anti-personnel mine while grazing animals in the former contact line area, which remains uncleared of mines.
The wounded man was immediately taken to the hospital.
