Ukraine claims attacks on Russian Black Sea Fleet, drone control centres
The command posts of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) units were struck on April 21 and overnight into April 22, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced.
In a statement, the military said units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces carried out a series of strikes against multiple Russian military targets.
Among the reported targets was a command post for the movement of warships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, “Streletskaya,” located in Sevastopol, in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Additional strikes were carried out on UAV command posts near the settlements of Korovyakovka and Tetkino in Russia’s Kursk region, as well as a UAV command post known as “Molniya” in the area of Dobrolyubovka in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine also reported that command-and-observation posts were hit near Zatyshne in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region and in Vysokoye in Russia’s Belgorod region.
