Ukraine confirms strikes on key Russian oil, logistics, military facilities
Ukraine's General Staff said its forces had carried out a series of strikes against military, logistical, and fuel infrastructure targets in Russia and Russian-occupied territories, targeting facilities considered important to Moscow's war effort.
In a statement, the General Staff reported a strike on the Grushovaya oil transshipment depot, part of the Sheskharis oil export complex near the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk in Russia's Krasnodar region. Ukrainian officials said a fire broke out at the site following the attack, although the full extent of the damage remains under assessment, Caliber.Az reports.
Ukraine also claimed responsibility for a strike on the Krasny Yar linear production and dispatch station in Russia's Volgograd region. According to the General Staff, a fire was reported at the facility, which serves as a key link in oil transportation routes supplying both the Volgograd Oil Refinery and the Sheskharis export terminal through the Kuibyshev–Tikhoretsk pipeline system.
In addition, Ukrainian military officials reported strikes against a radar installation in the Kabardinka area of Krasnodar region, as well as drone control centers, logistics depots, and concentrations of Russian troops in several areas, including the Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Kursk regions.
The General Staff also announced a confirmed strike on the Ust-Labinskaya oil depot on June 6, stating that fuel storage tanks and other infrastructure at the facility were damaged.
