Ukraine gets new security chief

Vasyl Malyuk has been appointed as the new head of Ukraine's Security Service.

The decision was made by the Ukrainian parliament on February 7, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ukrainian media.

On February 6, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy submitted to parliament the relevant draft resolution.

Malyuk has been acting head of the Security Service since July 2022 and has been a member of the National Security and Defence Council since August.
