Ukraine to buy 100 Rosomak armoured personnel carriers from Poland with EU, US funds
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki confirmed that Ukraine has purchased 100 Polish-made Rosomak armoured personnel carriers (ZPTs) from Poland.
The Polish prime minister spoke at a factory on April 1 where these armoured personnel carriers are produced, according to Social Bites.
“Yesterday, I received an order for 100 Rosomaks produced here from Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal,” Morawiecki said.
Rosomak is planned to be paid out of funds from European and American funds allocated to Kyiv by the partners.
The Polish politician also pointed out that the development of the defence industry is gradually “gaining momentum”.
It is waiting for new orders for military equipment from Poland, Slovenia and Saudi Arabia.
Former Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland Pavel Blonsky said that Warsaw will not give Kyiv all MiG-29 warplanes.
According to the latest data, the Polish Air Force is armed with 22 MiG-29A aircraft and six MiG-29UB aircraft.
