Ukrainian drone assault hits Russian region, leaves two dead

A drone attack on the city of Syzran in Russia’s Samara region has left two people dead, with additional injuries reported, Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev announced.

“Ukrainian Armed Forces are attacking Syzran with UAVs. It is with deep sorrow that I report: due to inhumane actions by the enemy, two people have died. I extend my condolences to their families and loved ones. Others have been injured, and all necessary assistance is being provided,” the governor said via the MAX messaging platform.
