Unexploded missile found in boiler at Ukrainian power plant

At a Ukrainian thermal power plant, equipment was restored and pumps were restarted following a recent shelling, but staff initially failed to notice that an unexploded missile had become lodged in one of the boilers.

The ordnance was only discovered several hours later during an inspection conducted by an inventory commission that had arrived at the facility, the director of the Centre for Energy Research noted, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukrainian media.

Once the missile was identified, all personnel at the plant were immediately evacuated, and bomb disposal specialists were called to the site. The experts successfully removed the unexploded missile, and no injuries have been reported.
