US aircraft carrier docks in Croatian port after concluding NATO training

The American aircraft carrier USS George H. W. Bush entered the Croatian port of Split in the Adriatic Sea after a NATO training maneuver named "Neptun Strike" has ended.

As TASS reported citing the Croatian Večernji list, the US embassy in Zagreb has highlighted, that the visit of the vessel to the port will allow for the strengthening of American-Croatian relations.

The diplomatic mission further added, that the two governments are working together on building a stable, safe and flourishing Europe, calling the arrival of the carrier an opportunity for the US marines to acquaint themselves with the Croatian culture.
