US awards Lockheed contract for JASSM & LRASM large lot delivery

The US Air Force has strengthened its defence capabilities with a contract exceeding $3.2 billion awarded to Lockheed Martin, focused on acquiring Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles (JASSM) and Long-Range Anti-Ship Missiles (LRASM).

Much of the work will be conducted in Orlando, Florida, with a significant portion dedicated to Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to enhance ties with allies like Japan, the Netherlands, Finland, and Poland, slated for completion by mid-2032, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
