US Chargé d’Affaires lauds development progress during visit to Azerbaijan's Zangilan
Amy Carlon, US Chargé d'Affaires to Azerbaijan, expressed strong admiration for the ongoing development projects in Zangilan, describing the region’s infrastructure advancements as “truly impressive.”
Her observations were conveyed in the course of the visit, undertaken as part of a diplomatic corps delegation, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
“The Government of Azerbaijan organized this opportunity for us to visit the region. In fact, this is my first time outside of Baku, and I am very excited to be here to see the progress. This is especially exciting for us — the US is truly committed to this engagement, and I am very pleased to witness the progress achieved,” Amy Carlon emphasized.

This visit is particularly important to us, and, of course, the US commitment to it is genuine. I am very pleased to see the progress that has been made,” Carlon emphasized.
During the visit, the diplomat observed numerous ongoing infrastructure initiatives, as well as newly constructed homes, parks, and schools, noting the visible improvements in local living conditions.
“It is truly impressive,” Carlon added, underscoring her admiration for the scale and quality of the projects underway in the region.
