US military strike targets vessel in Eastern Pacific, three killed VIDEO
The United States Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) says a U.S. military strike in the Eastern Pacific killed three individuals aboard a vessel allegedly involved in narcotics trafficking.
In a statement posted on X, SOUTHCOM said the operation was carried out on June 18 under the direction of its commander, Francis L. Donovan, and executed by Joint Task Force Southern Spear, Caliber.Az reports.

“On June 18, at the direction of #SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations. Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations. Three male narco-terrorists were killed during this action. No U.S. military forces were harmed,” the command said.
According to the statement, intelligence indicated the vessel was travelling along established drug-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific at the time of the strike.
No further details about the vessel or the individuals killed were immediately provided.
