Uzbekistan disrupts hiring of construction workers for Israel

An official Israeli delegation flying to Tashkent to hire construction workers to work on construction sites in Israel has returned home with nothing.

Local authorities paralyzed its work under various bureaucratic pretexts, making it impossible to hire workers, The Marker reports, citing members of the delegation.

Also from India, the official Israeli delegation returned without a single worker. In this case, however, the reason was different - none of the applicants who showed up for the published advertisements could pass the Israeli Contractors Association exam.
