Yerevan considers mediators' presence at talks with Baku mandatory
23 November 2023 15:59
No meetings between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan have been scheduled yet, Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan told reporters in parliament, Caliber.Az reports.
"There is no such information yet," Safaryan said.
Asked whether a meeting with Baku without mediators is acceptable for Yerevan, Safaryan noted that there are issues that require the presence of mediators.
He did not comment on the details of the upcoming meeting of the delimitation commissions, noting that the Foreign Ministry has already made a statement on the matter. The diplomat only noted that this was a manifestation of a constructive approach on the Armenian side.
