30 November 2022 12:46
Jala Tabrizli, an Iranian activist on ethnic issues and women's rights and co-founder of the “Ərk” human rights organization warned about the prosecution of Turkic women in Iran.
According to APA, while speaking at the “Shout of Urmia Lake” event, she stressed, that, “The Islamic regime in Iran does not recognize women's rights. Especially Turkic women are subject to racial discrimination.
Also, our children cannot be educated in their mother tongue. Usually, children are happy when they go to school, but our children cry. Because they do not know the teacher's language. For this reason, many remain illiterate”.
