Ankara reacts to attempts to obstruct Türkiye's anti-terror operations

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has said that there are attempts to thwart Türkiye's anti-terrorist operations.

He urged US-led allies to stop supporting terrorism, according to NTV.

The minister noted that the US should also stop sending messages that Türkiye can launch air strikes but let it not launch ground operations.

“There is clear support by some allies, especially the US, for terrorist organizations in Syria. I told them about the terrorist attacks in Türkiye and said that they were due to US support. I explained that we don't want statements victimizing terrorists. We see messages regarding Turkey. We will continue our fight against terrorism in both Syria and Iraq. Türkiye is a state capable of this,” Cavusoglu remarked.
