Turkish FM says South Caucasus has chance for peace after Karabakh war

After the Karabakh war, an opportunity arose to establish peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu made the statement at a joint press conference with his Argentine counterpart Santiago Cafiero on February 3, Star reports.
Cavusoglu noted that he informed Cafiero about measures to normalise relations between Türkiye and Armenia and between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
According to the Turkish foreign minister, Ankara aims to turn the South Caucasus into a stable and developing region. He added that both Türkiye and Azerbaijan are taking sincere steps in this direction.
