Iran says ready to join second "3+3" format meeting on South Caucasus

Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali has said Iran supports the "three plus three" format on the South Caucasus and is ready to take part in the second meeting, which is being organized by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"Iran always supports such a mechanism," he said when asked whether Tehran intends to take part in the meeting when it takes place,” TASS quotes him as saying.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the Russian diplomatic office was working on convening a second meeting in the three-plus-three format.
