The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has congratulated Georgia on the occasion of Independence Day.

Caliber.Az reports that the ministry had made a congratulatory post on Twitter.

"We extend our best and warmest wishes to the people and government of our neighbor and friend Georgia on Independence Day. Looking forward to even stronger ties and further deepening of strategic relations between our countries!" the post reads.
