Armenian drivers rush to streets as PM bans tinting of cars' front side windows
A group of drivers is holding a protest in Yerevan over the decision to fine drivers for tinting their car’s front side windows with more than 70 per cent transparency.
"We disagree with this decision. We can't drive cars without tinting because of the heat. Besides, there will be more cases of theft, as all the things in the cabin will be visible. They argue that patrol officers cannot see whether a driver has his seatbelt on or off at night, but this is just an excuse to fine people,” one of the protesters complained," Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.
“[Prime Minister Nikol] Pashinyan says there are 3 million prime ministers in Armenia who can make a decision. Where? Now only one person, sitting in his office, makes a decision, and he, driving around in his air-conditioned car, shows a careless approach to, for example, the fact that there are drivers who drive taxis from morning till night," the protester stressed.
