Cavusoglu: Ankara, Baku worked together to protect Azerbaijan's rights
Former Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has said that Baku and Ankara has so far worked together to protect Azerbaijan and Türkiye's rights.
He made the remarks on Twitter in response to Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov's earlier tweet, Report informs.
The Turkish diplomat expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani foreign minister.
"Dear brother, we worked together to protect the rights of Türkiye and Azerbaijan, thank you very much. Long live the Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood!", stressed Cavusoglu.
Bayramov earlier said that Cavusoglu achieved great success and made an unprecedented contribution to the development of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations as Türkiye 's foreign minister.
"I express my great gratitude to my brother Mevlut Cavusoglu, I wish him success in his future activities!", - said Bayramov.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan introduced the new Cabinet of Ministers on June 3. Hakan Fidan has been appointed Türkiye's foreign minister.
