Russian senator: UN peacekeepers not ensure stability in Karabakh

Armenia is trying to discredit Russian peacekeepers by calling on the UN Security Council to send a mission to the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan.

Russian Senator Konstantin Dolgov said in a conversation with the Vzglyad newspaper.

In his opinion, this attempt “will not end well”. He clarified that UN peacekeepers will not be able to ensure stability in Karabakh.

Dolgov added that Yerevan must justify the need for such a step.
