Azerbaijan continues to seize ammunition in Garabagh region PHOTO/VIDEO
The next combat vehicles, military equipment, as well as ammunition in civilian outbuildings used as storage were seized in various areas of the Garabagh region.
A large number of missiles, artillery shells and mines, as well as ammunition of various calibres, were found in the storage, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.
It should be noted that the seizure of weapons, ammunition and combat vehicles continues in the region.
Based on the agreements reached at a meeting between the Azerbaijani officials and the representatives of the Armenian minority living in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan last week, members of the armed Armenian formations in Garabagh continue to surrender their weapons.
“As of September 24, the following were delivered: six units of armoured vehicles, more than 1,200 units of small arms, anti-tank weapons and MANPADS [man-portable air-defence system], about 130 thousand ammunition,” the Russian Ministry of Defence reported, according to Caliber.Az.
The Ministry added that as of September 24, peacekeepers in Garabagh had not recorded any ceasefire violations.
