US to help people from Garabagh

USAID administrator Samantha Power has said that the USA is ready to help people from Garabagh.

Power made these remarks at a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan, the Armenian cabinet said, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.

USAID administrator said that the delegation arrived in Armenia to emphasise the US commitment to its sovereignty, territorial integrity and democracy. She handed over a letter from US President Joe Biden to the prime minister.

Power noted that the US focuses on resolving the “humanitarian crisis” in Garabagh.

She noted that about 5,000 people have already moved to Armenia, and the US intends to help these people.
