Armenian citizen from Garabagh: Azerbaijanis - owners of this land

Armenian Robert Safaryan, who lives in Garabagh, has said that he saw the humanity of the Azerbaijani people when he was captured during the first Garabagh war (1988-1994).

“When I was captured by the Azerbaijani side, I was treated well and assistance was rendered to me. I love the Azerbaijani people. Everything happened as it should have been. Sooner or later you would have liberated your lands. I don't need either Yerevan or Garabagh. I can honestly say that you are the owners of this land. I am a lonely person and I will go to Russia. I don’t want to return to Khankandi anymore. There is no pressure on us, we easily drive through after the documents are checked,” Report quotes him as saying.
