Erdogan hails Azerbaijan's attitude toward Garabagh Armenians

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has hailed the attitude of the Azerbaijani authorities towards the Armenians in the country's Garabagh region despite all the pain that the Azerbaijanis have experienced over 30 years.

“We are proud of the successes of the Azerbaijani army. May Allah have mercy on the souls of our martyred brothers, I wish healing to the wounded,”  Erdogan said following a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on September 26, per Report.

He also spoke about regional projects.

“We hope that Armenia will not succumb to external provocations. We want to create a prosperous region with joint projects that will include Iran. Türkiye's friends always win, but Türkiye's enemies always lose. We are looking for ways to expand our circle of friends,” Erdogan noted.
