Armenians desecrate mosque in Azerbaijan’s Shusha

After local anti-terrorism measures in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan, while inspecting the territories, the representatives of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry revealed that mosques were desecrated by Armenians.

A mosque in Malibayli village of Shusha District, reportedly built in the XVII century, was used as a stable for animals, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry told Report.

The minaret of the Malibayli mosque was blown up by the Armenian armed forces in 1992. Its ceiling was set on fire in several places and became unusable.

Such an atrocity committed against the Azerbaijani religious, historical and cultural monuments testifies to the Armenian vandalism.
