Some 15 Garabagh Armenians apply for Azerbaijani citizenship PHOTO

Thirteen ethnic Armenians have applied for citizenship via physical registration on site as part of the reintegration process, and two more people applied through a special website, www.reintegration.gov.az, created for this purpose, the Azerbaijani State Migration Service says.

“A total of 15 residents have applied to the State Migration Service, providing all the necessary information,” Caliber.Az reports, citing the State Migration Service.

“The applicants expressed a desire to live in the Garabagh economic region, renouncing Armenian citizenship to obtain citizenship of the Azerbaijani Republic,” the statement reads.
