Azerbaijani foreign minister raps destructive activities of third parties in region

    POLITICS  02 December 2023 - 09:03

The destructive activities of some third parties do not serve peace in the region.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this on Friday at a special session of the II European Conference in the capital of North Macedonia, Skopje, Report informs.

The minister drew attention to Azerbaijan's foreign policy priorities in the post-conflict period, prospects for Azerbaijani-Armenian relations, as well as our country's position on the regional situation.

The foreign minister provided information to the event participants about the factors that determined the local anti-terrorism measures carried out on September 19.

Jeyhun Bayramov also spoke about the restoration and construction work carried out by Azerbaijan in the region. At the same time, he especially emphasized the presence of a mine threat planted by Armenia against Azerbaijan.

The minister drew attention to the strengthening of Armenia's military potential and the destructive activities of some third parties in the region. He stressed that such activities do not serve peace and stability in the region.

The foreign minister also recalled that biased and provocative accusations against Azerbaijan after anti-terrorist measures fundamentally contradict the reports and statements of representatives of specialized UN agencies, including those actively operating in Armenia, and this proved the groundlessness of the allegations against our country.
