UK expands sanctions against three countries

The UK has expanded its sanctions list against Belarus, Syria and Iran.

In particular, the anti-Belarusian sanctions list has been expanded by 17 positions which include a judge of the Supreme Court of Belarus and prosecutors, according to the website of the UK’s government.

Restrictions were imposed on 16 people due to human rights violations. The sanctions list against Syria has been expanded to the 8th position and the 5th position against Iran.
