Azerbaijani female wrestler gets license for Paris 2024 Summer Olympics

Azerbaijani female wrestler Maria Stadnik (50 kg) has won a license for the 2024 Summer Olympics to be held in Paris.

The 35-year-old athlete successfully performed at the World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Istanbul, Report informs.

In the fight for the license M.Stadnik met with Italian Emmanuela Liucci. A member of the Azerbaijani national team defeated her rival with a score of 10:0 and received a license for the Olympic Games Paris-2024.

Earlier, three members of the Azerbaijan national Greco-Roman wrestling team, Murad Mammadov (60 kg), Rafik Huseynov (87 kg) and Sabah Shariati (130 kg), received licenses on the first day of the competition.
