F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2026: tickets now on sale

03 December 2025 15:52

Early Bird ticket sales have officially begun for the 2026 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the Baku City Circuit (BCC) Operating Company has announced.

Tickets for the race weekend, scheduled for 24–26 September, are now available on the official website. A special 20% Early Bird discount, applicable through the Baku City Circuit website and mobile application, will remain valid until 15 December 2025, Caliber.Az reports, citing the company.

Fans who purchase a four-day ticket will receive, in addition to three-day grandstand access, the opportunity to join a pit-lane walk, allowing them to see F1 teams, drivers, and their garages up close.

Notably, the 2025 Azerbaijan Grand Prix recorded the highest attendance in nine years, drawing 90,000 spectators over the race weekend.

“In light of growing global interest, fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early to witness another thrilling racing season,” Baku City Circuit stated.

Meanwhile, on the international racing scene, Azerbaijan is making waves through its young talents. Karting prodigy Davin Jafarov delivered an impressive performance at the season finale held at the Bombarral International Circuit in Portugal, Azerisport.com reports.

Competing in the EK125 category with a BMB engine, Jafarov started as the leader but failed to finish the semifinal due to engine failure. Despite this setback, he staged a remarkable comeback in the final, overtaking several competitors to finish second, earning the trophy for the fastest driver in Portugal in his category.

Earlier, at the World Cup in Italy, Jafarov set a new record with 24 overtakes—doubling the previous mark of 12—and repeatedly posted the fastest lap times. His performance drew attention from top teams, including McLaren GT4, which invited him for test sessions at the renowned Autódromo Fernanda Pires da Silva in Estoril.

Jafarov’s rising potential has also caught the eye of Renault, which invited the 16-year-old Azerbaijani talent for Formula 4 testing. Having already received an offer from the Formula 4 Aston Martin junior development program, Jafarov is expected to decide on his next steps by the end of December.
