American fighter jet Super Hornet crashes in California

A US Navy F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fighter jet crashed on June 3 in the Mojave Desert in California, killing the pilot.

It is reported by the ABC TV channel.

The incident occurred at 2:30 pm local time near the town of Trona in San Bernardino County. Firefighters and soldiers arrived on the scene.

While the cause of the crash is unknown, the investigation continues.
