"Armenia loses strategically important heights" Armenian media unveils list
The Armenian Hayalig newspaper has reported that the Armenian armed forces lost control over a number of strategically important territories and heights in the Armenian-Azerbaijani border area.
Taking into account that this information is real, our readers may have an idea about these important territories and heights, Caliber.Az reports on September 15.
Thus, Armenia lost control over the following territories:
Some 25 square kilometres of territory in Gegharkunik (Goycha) region;
Having advanced 4.5 kilometres in the direction of Akhpradzor (Yukhari Zagali), the Azerbaijani Armed Forces reached Mount Khorapor (2,906 metres);
Having advanced eight kilometres in the direction of Verin Shorja (Yukhary Shorja), the Azerbaijani army established control over the Chermakakar (Divasar) height (2,747 metres), Ukhtasar (Gilinjdag) (2,851 metres) and the nameless height (2,484 metres);
Having advanced seven kilometres in the direction of Norabak (Azizli), the Azerbaijanis occupied an unnamed height (2,338.6 metres).
The Azerbaijani army has established control over approximately 150 square kilometres of the non-demilitarised zone over the past two years.
