Armenia refuses to include opposition faction’s draft statement on Lachin road in agenda

The Armenian parliament has not included the draft statement of the Hayastan opposition faction on the Lachin road in the agenda.

The faction of the ruling Civil Contract party did not take part in the voting and the draft statement was not included in the agenda, Caliber.Az reports citing Sputnik-Armenia.

Some 28 parliamentarians (less than half of MPs) voted for including the draft statement in the agenda.

Full support for the peacekeeping mission of the Russian Federation in Karabakh and the need to extend its mandate is expressed in the statement.
