The agreement was signed on November 20, 2023 by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan and the Head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia, Vassilis Maragos.
The document stipulates all technical issues related to the activities of the monitoring mission, including their accommodation and medical care. These issues will be solved for the members of the mission in the same way as for foreign diplomats.
A number of Armenian experts stated that the observers in Armenia, who are representatives of NATO countries, particularly Germany and France, are intelligence agents. And their main mission is to gather information about the Russian military presence in Armenia and to keep an eye on Iran.
