Armenian Defence Ministry avoids questions on French equipment deliveries

The Armenian Defence Ministry does not comment on reports about the delivery of French Bastion armoured vehicles to Armenia.

"Apart from official reports and statements regarding cooperation between Armenia and France in the defence sphere, we cannot provide any additional information at the moment," Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Aram Torosyan told reporters, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

On November 12, Caliber.Az disseminated reliable information about France’s delivery of military equipment to Armenia through Georgia.

In particular, French multi-purpose armoured vehicles Bastion produced by Acmat Company were shipped in the port of Poti. Components for Bastion were also shipped - the sender is the French company ARQUUS.
