Two police officers killed in southern Moscow explosion UPDATED
Two traffic police officers have died following an explosion on Yeletskaya Street in southern Moscow, TASS reports.
According to the Russian Investigative Committee, an unknown individual detonated an explosive device during their detention on the street and was also killed.

An explosion occurred overnight on Yeletskaya Street in southern Moscow, Russia.
According to the Russian Investigative Committee, two traffic police officers were injured in the blast, and a criminal case has been opened, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
Investigators are examining the scene, reviewing CCTV footage, and have ordered a series of forensic examinations, including medical and explosive analyses.
A police station is located on Yeletskaya Street, where one of the police officers was seriously wounded in the explosion, according to the Telegram channel Baza.
Yeletskaya Street is adjacent to Yasenevaya Street, where a car belonging to Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov was blown up on December 22. Sarvarov, who headed the Operational Training Department of the Russian Armed Forces, was killed in the attack at the age of 56.
Investigators believe the killing was organised by agents of Ukrainian intelligence services.
