Armenian, Iranian special forces team up for border drills

Special forces units from Armenia and Iran will conduct joint military exercises on April 9-10.

According to Armenian media reports citing the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Defence, each country's forces will carry out their respective drills on their territory (Armenian forces in Armenia and Iranian forces in Iran), Caliber.Az reports.

The exercises will focus on joint actions to neutralise the threat of simulated terrorist groups attacking border checkpoints along the shared border between the two nations.
